We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to drive fragrance sales growth in the Emerging Client Group. Reporting to the Vice President Sales this position will be located in Piscataway, NJ. The Account Executive will be a key member of the client team and will have broad exposure and interaction with customers as well as all internal departments. This position will be responsible for the growth of assigned accounts, managing business opportunities (projects) follow-up and anticipating client needs, ensure that the internal support team is focused on the right opportunities. Responsibilities:
Lead the development and growth of accounts in assigned territory/key category. Connect with established clients and identify access opportunities to grow/maintain business. Partner with new business development team to identify new target clients, establish connections and drive sales growth. Design and implement a strategic sales plan within the Sales Team to optimize client relationships and grow business Manage all aspects of client projects, from brief to completion, full accountability to guide the process for the internal team meeting all required deadlines. Develop a business strategy for each key account and align necessary resources to support initiatives to develop/initiate the business opportunity. Deliver on established sales objectives. Establish and maintain positive customer relations for continued business success. Lead partnerships with clients, introduce Agilex key team members when required from all departments and management levels to build relationships and understanding of client needs. Interface with all key stakeholders at the client; R&D, Marketing, Purchasing, & Fragrance Development Responsible for initiating and leading project kick-off meetings with internal team to ensure projects/requests are aligned with client needs and meeting necessary deadlines. Promote competitive advantages, leverage core competencies and organizational resources, introduce new concepts, technologies and opportunities to new and existing clients to strengthen customer relationships and grow the business. Manage project status for weekly sales meetings, keep the team informed and giving them the ability to share updates. Ensures that all necessary information regarding the project, sample, application, and any customer requirements, including regulatory and safety, are documented and understood. Manage Budget and LE process for assigned accounts and present to management team Negotiate, finalize and maintain contracts and client agreements, NDA, Core List, Rebate Programs, etc. Negotiate price increases when required, and maintain profitability of category/territory and/or key account responsibilities Monitor performance vs. budget (LE) for assigned accounts, and provide information to management team on status of business on a monthly basis Communicate and document changes of customer requirements to appropriate departments ensuring all information entered in the system is current. Ensure to remain up to date with a good understanding of clients' product portfolio. Responsible for creating and delivering presentations internally and with customers, attending customer visits, events, and takes ownership of matters requiring the coordination of customer support, utilizing internal resources effectively and efficiently to support client. Keep current on industry developments, competitive activities, fragrance ingredient cost movements and new product launches, and utilize industry knowledge and experience to establish credibility with clients and within the organization Actively participate in the resolution of client complaints on all levels, notifying customer service when necessary and effectively manage these issues with client and the internal teams. Document these issues for tracking purposes. Responsible for administrative functions associated with all accounts, including managing T&E budgets, forecasts, and monthly reports. Completes written comprehensive call reports with actions, which are entered into system. Partner with accounts receivable when necessary to resolve invoice issues Minimum
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree with at least 5 years of experience preferably with fragrance or chemical sales experience Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate, present and influence credibly with clients and with team members. Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
